Englewood Hospital lends a helping hand to help combat child hunger

Englewood Hospital employees Phyllis Brown, Community Relations
Manager and Janice Messick, RD, Certified Diabetes Educator lend a helping hand.

Englewood Hospital and Medical Center proudly supported the Center for Food Action at the launch of “Weekend Snack Packs,” a new pilot program that aims to combat child hunger. Englewood employees and their families volunteered their time to help pack special care packages for distribution to area school children. The packages contain healthy food for students to consume on weekends when school sponsored lunch is not available to them.
