The Pharmacy Residency Program at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center has achieved reaccreditation through 2015. The Medical Center selects two new licensed pharmacists to participate in this comprehensive post-doctoral training program every year. “We want to congratulate members of the pharmacy staff on receiving reaccreditation,” said Jacqueline Takere, Pharm.D, Director of the ASHP Pharmacy Residency Program at Englewood Hospital. “Our residents are part of a dedicated team of pharmacists who are committed to delivering the highest level of care to our patients.” Residents further develop their ability to safely and effectively manage and dispense medications in a timely, compassionate and humanistic manner. They also focus on improving medication therapy based on patients’ needs, while working to identify and prevent medication-related problems.
