Celebrating Indian Heritage: A Health & Wellness Fair

(Englewood, NJ, August 10, 2012) – Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and the Share and Care Foundation are teaming up to host the 5th Annual “Celebrating Indian Heritage: A Health and Wellness Fair.” The free event will be held at the Medical Center on Sunday, September 9 between 8 a.m. and noon.

“Englewood Hospital is proud to offer these free educational services, screenings and one-on-one sessions with our medical experts to the community,” said Dr. Hetal Gor, MD, FACOG, Program Director. “This is an excellent opportunity to connect with the residents of Englewood and our neighboring towns. While the fair is specifically geared towards people from the Indian subcontinent, we encourage everyone to come out and play an active role in promoting a healthy lifestyle.”

The event provides free consultations with physicians from a variety of specialties including cardiology, diabetes, and breast and bone health. Participants can also register for free flu shots and receive blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, among other things. Additionally, Englewood Hospital will offer an educational lecture covering a wide-range of health topics, followed by a question and answer session.
