Englewood Hospital Physician Recognized for Excellence in Humanistic Medicine

Arnold P. Gold Foundation Honors Dr. David Henick with Gold DOC Award

(Englewood, NJ, August 14, 2012) – The Arnold P. Gold Foundation recently honored another Englewood Hospital and Medical Center physician with the prestigious Gold DOC Award. The Foundation established this program to give patients an opportunity to pay tribute to physicians who demonstrate exemplary skill, sensitivity, service and compassion.

The Foundation has recognized David Henick, MD for his excellence in humanism in medicine, a core element at Englewood Hospital, where all staff members strive to create a culture of quality, compassionate patient care.

Dr. Henick is board certified in otolaryngology. His specialty expertise includes endoscopic sinus surgery, head and neck surgery and nasal and sinus surgery. Dr. Henick is Chief of the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. He is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and the American Rhinologic Society. Additionally, Dr. Henick has been ranked among America’s “Top Doctors” by Castle Connolly.
