(Englewood, NJ, December 14, 2012) – Volunteers at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center recently crocheted dozens of colorful, cozy blankets to deliver to patients just in time for the holiday season. Seven volunteers devoted more than 3,500 hours combined to complete the project, which totaled 61 blankets. Volunteers then hand delivered the gifts to patients at Englewood Hospital and other area health clinics.

“This gesture is exactly what our volunteers are all about,” said Vindra Marsoubian, Volunteer Coordinator at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. “We are committed to providing the compassion and comfort Englewood Hospital is known for, and these blankets are a symbol of that dedication. Seeing our patients’ faces light up with the delivery of each blanket lets us know we’re living up to our promise to provide the best care possible, on every level.”
