Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Announces Executive Leadership Appointment

-Kathy Kaminsky Named Senior Vice President of Clinical Effectiveness and Chief Quality Officer-

(Englewood, NJ, May 6, 2013) – Englewood Hospital and Medical Center is proud to announce the appointment of Kathy Kaminsky to the position of Senior Vice President of Clinical Effectiveness and Chief Quality Officer.

“Ms. Kaminsky has been instrumental in the national recognition Englewood Hospital has received for medical excellence, high quality care and patient safety,” said Warren Geller, President and CEO of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. “She is leading the effort to develop and implement new strategies to continuously ensure the Medical Center remains a leader in high quality care and patient safety. As we build on this tradition of excellence, our patients can continue to expect world-class care in the comfort of their own community.”

In her new role as Senior Vice President of Clinical Effectiveness and Chief Quality Officer, Ms. Kaminsky will provide strategic and operational leadership to the Medical Center’s quality initiatives to ensure the Medical Center is well positioned for the changing models of care in a reformed health system, including value based purchasing.

Ms. Kaminsky began her career at Englewood Hospital in 1985 as a unit secretary and became a staff nurse in 1986. She was appointed to the role of Director of Systems/Practice Development in 1996, Director of the Center for Nursing Practice in 1999 and has served as Englewood Hospital’s Vice President of Clinical Effectiveness since 2000.
