(Englewood, NJ, May 8, 2013) - Englewood Hospital and Medical Center recently hosted a free “Korean Community Health Seminar,” focused on stress and its effects on the body as it relates to the Korean-American culture. The event drew a crowd of more than 60 people and was the first in a lecture series that will spotlight the diagnosis, treatment and management of behavioral health-related illnesses.

Bi-lingual speakers conducted the presentations in Korean and English. Topics included defining and coping with stress, stress-related illnesses and the community resources available to help address stress. Attendees had an opportunity to participate in a question and answer session and enjoyed a complimentary lunch in between presentations.
