(Englewood, NJ, June 10, 2013) – Englewood Hospital and Medical Center recently hosted the “The Best Baby Shower Ever,” where more than 200 expectant moms enjoyed a fun-filled day preparing for baby.

“This is our seventh year celebrating this event and once again, we had a record turnout,” said Ines Serna, Childbirth Education Coordinator at Englewood Hospital. “It is a great collaboration between hospital staff and our local community businesses, who enthusiastically join in the effort to bring our moms-to-be a day of pampering, fun and celebration.”

Stickers bearing due dates adorned the baby bumps of all expectant moms in attendance. Families had an opportunity to check out the latest and greatest in baby products from more than a dozen vendors, meet with Englewood Hospital’s board-certified pediatricians and maternity staff, and participate in pre-natal yoga demonstrations. Moms also put their swaddling skills to the test to compete for free gifts during the event’s baby care class. The Ben & Jerry’s booth was also on hand, helping to cure any pregnancy ice cream cravings.
