(Englewood, NJ, June 27, 2013)Englewood Hospital and Medical Center recently hosted a “Korean Wellness Festival” that offered free health consultations, screenings and wellness services. Many of Englewood Hospital's board-certified physicians, nurses and EMTs donated their time and expertise to the nearly 200 people that attended the event co-sponsored with BankAsiana.

“We are pleased to provide our services to the Korean-American community,” said Gerald Lee, MD, Internal Medicine at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. “Our staff is committed to serving the diverse cultural and health care needs of every patient. We want members of the Korean-American community to know that high quality, personalized healthcare is right here in their own neighborhood.”

Visitors were welcomed to participate in free glucose, cholesterol, and blood pressure screenings, pulmonary function tests, depression and sleep health screenings, and more.  Complimentary consultations with physicians allowed visitors to discuss health questions and concerns and receive immediate and invaluable medical guidance.
