Celebrating Indian Heritage, Health & Wellness at Englewood Hospital

(Englewood, NJ, August 12, 2013) – Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and the Share and Care Foundation are teaming up to host the 6th Annual “Celebrating Indian Heritage: A Health and Wellness Fair.” The free event will be held at the Medical Center on Saturday, September 14 between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30pm.

The fair will emphasize wellness for community members whose heritage originates from the Indian subcontinent, but everyone is encouraged to attend and take a proactive approach to their health.

Free consultations will be offered by physicians in various specialties including cardiology, diabetes, and breast and bone health. Participants also can register for free flu shots and receive blood pressure and cholesterol screenings. Experts also will offer an educational lecture covering a wide-range of health topics followed by a question and answer session.
