(Englewood, NJ, December, 10, 2013) – Englewood Hospital and Medical Center recently partnered with “Man Up!,” a boys-to-men leadership development program that connects young minority men with mentors in their community and aims to positively impact them through real-world career opportunities in an effort to help build self-esteem, encourage academic excellence and promote leadership skills.

The group had an opportunity to tour various departments within the Medical Center, including Echocardiogram, the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, the Volunteer Department and the Food and Nutrition Department. Dr. Jason Baynes, orthopedic surgeon at EHMC, also spent time discussing career opportunities within the medical field.
