(Englewood, NJ, December 23, 2013) – Pediatric patients at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (EHMC) enjoyed a surprise visit from The Fort Lee Police Department, Santa Claus and friends, who were all on hand to deliver toys, candy canes and smiles – just in time for the holidays.

Children received dolls, stuffed animals, sports gear and games. Afterwards, the merry-makers stopped in to visit patients and staff in EHMC’s Dialysis and Infusion Centers.

“We are so grateful to the Fort Lee Police Department for keeping this fun tradition alive every year,” said Lori Villa, Community Affairs Coordinator at EHMC. “A visit from Santa and other well-loved characters helps to boost the spirits of our patients and staff, no matter what the age.”
