New Mom 101 Seminars Offered by Englewood Hospital and Medical Center

-Free Educational Program Prepares New & Expectant Parent -

(Englewood, NJ, March 4, 2014) – The Childbirth Education Department at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center (EHMC) is launching Mom 101, a free educational seminar series that will provide guidance and support to new and expectant parents.

The first of six scheduled seminars focuses on “Total Pregnancy Wellness: Health, Nutrition & Fitness,” and will be lead by holistic nutritionist, Nancy Cooper, RD and prenatal yoga instructor Arlene Minoyan, RPYT. The seminar will be held on Monday, March 31 from 5:30pm-7:00pm in Childbirth Education Classroom #4168 at EHMC.

“We are thrilled to introduce this exciting educational series to new and expectant moms and dads,” said Ines Serna, Childbirth Education Coordinator at EHMC. “Mom 101 sessions will cover a wide range of topics that are relevant to first-time parents, including tips to improve lifestyle and diet at any stage of pregnancy, proper nutrition and dental care for baby, emergency prevention and management, and more. Our team of experts will lead each presentation, providing invaluable insight and guidance, as well as addressing any questions or concerns participating parents may have.”
