What to expect on the day of your exam:

Required Documents

In order to expedite the registration process, you must bring the following items to your scheduled appointment:

  • Your insurance card

  • A prescription

  • Pre-authorization number or referral from your primary care physician (if needed)

Please be aware that if the requested information is not presented to our staff at the time of your visit, we may have to reschedule your visit to allow you to bring the information to us.

Due to the variable volume of imaging needs, we are busier some days than others. We will try to complete your exam in the shortest time possible, while providing it in a caring manner.

We pride ourselves on staying on schedule, which in turn will keep you on schedule. Striving to stay "on time" benefits us all. It decreases stress and makes us all more efficient. We aim to be punctual with your appointment time and request that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to complete the registration process. If you are going to be late for your scheduled appointment, please call us to let us know.

Who Performs the Exams

A Registered Radiologic Technologist with special training in ultrasound and x-ray procedures and equipment will perform your exam. In some cases, one of our doctors (Radiologists) will perform the exam.

Exam Results

Exams are interpreted by Radiologists. Therefore you will not receive your results from the technologist who performs your exam. Our Technologists will be happy to answer questions about the exam procedure itself.

Our Radiologists will report the specific results to the physician who ordered your exam. In turn, your physician will pass the results on to you.
