Commonly Performed Cardiac Surgeries

This is a list of the most common operations performed by Englewood Hospital’s Cardiac Surgery Program. If a procedure has been recommended to you that is not on this list, please contact us because different names and descriptions may have been used by your physician to describe one of these operations. Patients will often require more than one procedure during their operation. For example, the Maze procedure is often combined with repair of the mitral valve:
