Study Title:
Pilot of the Electrophysiologic Mapping of the Urinary Bladder

Eligibility requirements:
Women who are at least 18 years old and are scheduled for routine urodynamic and cystoscopy testing.

Study objectives:
To determine the feasibility of adapting some techniques used by cardiac electrophysiologists to help diagnose overactive bladder (OAB).

Summary of procedures:
Female subjects who are undergoing routine cystoscopy testing for standard reasons will be invited to participate in this pilot study. An electrode catheter will be inserted into the cystoscope to contact bladder tissue and map electrical activity. No actual treatment will be done as part of this study. Subjects will receive a $100 stipend.
