Vascular Services: Endovascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology

The Vascular Surgery Service enjoys the full support of the interventional radiology team in providing cutting edge, multi- disciplinary service for a variety of vascular disorders amenable to percutaneous treatment.

Approximately 900 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are performed annually in the interventional suite. Many of these procedures involve complex and advanced vascular interventions.

The Medical Center has become one of the leading providers of services such as thrombolysis and peripheral arterial, renovascular and hemodialysis related interventions.

State-of-the-art MR and CT angiography complement duplex sonography for non-invasive evaluation of vascular diseases. The Vascular Surgery Fellows directly interact with the interventional radiology team in making appropriate management decisions.

A dedicated Endovascular Suite in the operating room has expanded the output from interventional radiology and also permits precision placement of stents and stented grafts.
